FAQ
Do I need a reservation?
Walk-ins are welcome but we highly recommend making a reservation on Saturdays and during peak season for your tasting as seating indoors is limited. There is plenty of outdoor space to relax and share a bottle or drink a glass if you walk in and there is no room for you to do a tasting.
Are kids allowed?
Bringing children or infants onto the property is a privilege generally reserved for our Wine Club Members only. However, if it is your first time to Saint Tryphon we welcome your family for a visit to experience our 1890’s homestead, otherwise for non-members our experiences are 21+.
Are pets allowed?
Like children, bringing pets is a privilege reserved for Wine Club Members only. However, if it is your first time to Saint Tryphon we welcome your leashed furry friends for a visit to experience our 1890’s homestead, otherwise we are pet-free for the comfort of all guests.
What kind of food do you have?
We have a variety of charcuterie, cheeses, meats, crackers, olives, nuts, chocolate, tinned fish and other curated gourmet items for you to shop.
Do you allow outside food?
Outside food is permitted, only BBQ is not allowed to be eaten indoors for its lingering aroma, yet can be eaten outside.
Do you have a tour?
There are currently no tours available.
What does a wine tasting include?
Each tasting consists of five 1 oz consecutive pours of a curated flight selected by our wine maker. So you can sit back, relax and savor every pour. Served by one of our wine stewards, it equals up to one full glass of wine. Tastings are served in the Tasting Room and under the covered porch.
How long do you have a table for?
All tables indoors on the weekends have a two hour limit, feel free to lounge outside in the fresh air for as long as you like until closing time.
What happens when it rains or is cold outside?
Our indoor space in the tasting room has limited capacity therefore indoor and member reservations are honored and then it is first come, first served.
Where are we allowed to be on the property?
The tasting room, covered porch, and the first two rows of the vineyard are accessible to guests, the back area around the tasting room is reserved for members only and is clearly marked.
Is there a dress code?
We do not allow party paraphernalia like matching shirts, costumes, boas, etc. We also require all guests to wear shoes, even toddlers as there is broken glass in the gravel and grass that cannot be removed.
