Saint Tryphon Winery Guidelines
Our guidelines are outlined here with the intention to create a peaceful and relaxed environment in which we can provide exceptional hospitality to all guests enjoying our wines here at our 1890’s homestead and boutique winery.
Our business model is designed to provide a sophisticated adult experience where guests can taste and savor without disruption.
Our 21+ older and no-pets policy* is enforced to intentionally maintain a quiet and peaceful hill country sanctuary atmosphere we have become known for.
These guidelines prevent potential safety hazards involving minors and off-leash or reactive pets.
*Bringing children, infants or anyone under 21 is a privilege reserved for our wine club members only.
*Members and their accompanying guests are permitted to bring family under 21 and their pets. All pets must be on a leash and are not permitted in the tasting room.
*Only service animals are allowed in the tasting room and members tiny lap dogs.
The proprietors’ private residence is on the Saint Tryphon property and sits adjacent to the tasting room. We respectfully request that all guests drink responsibly, act with decorum, and respect the property’s rules.
Private members areas and public access are clearly outlined, thank you for respecting all of the non-entry boundaries around the property.
The tasting room, covered porch, and the first two rows of the vineyard are accessible to guests, the back area around the tasting room is reserved for members only and is clearly marked.
This is a non smoking property – no cigarettes/cigars/vaping permitted anywhere on the grounds.
Due to limited capacity tables inside the tasting room on weekends have a two hour limit.
No party paraphernalia allowed: matching shirts, costumes, boas, etc.
No large parties celebrating bridal showers, bachelorette, etc without prior authorization.
No outside alcoholic beverages. Outside food is allowed. BBQ is not allowed in the tasting room but it is allowed outside because of its lingering aroma.
There is no recording authorized on your phone or video cameras with out prior consent from the proprietors.
No firearms.
If any of these rules are disregarded or broken the guests will be asked to leave immediately.
TABC Safety Requirements
By law, we can only sell two drinks per person at a time. To purchase an open bottle, there must be at least two people.
Public intoxication is a crime in Texas, not just drinking and driving.
If an individual or group arrive at the winery in a compromised state, they will not be allowed to enter. If we believe someone within a group is intoxicated or at risk of being intoxicated we will ask the entire group to leave.
If your group is driving and there is no designated driver, please notify a staff member and we will help arrange transportation.
